What is a witch?

Master students of Music Academy go on an associative journey with diverse aspects defining the concept of witch and witchcraft. Whether the term was used when society was faced with abilities or knowledge they feared, or as a weapon to exclude or even destroy those that did not fit the mold. We present individual explorations in public spaces around the Mittlere Brücke, where many so-called witches lost their lives, underlining the tight connection to Basel’s history.
